Summary:  This is a rhyming children's picture book that compares sleeping baby to all different types of life. First the baby is like a sheep, then the baby rises like a baby chick. The rest of the book the baby is compared to other animals as it goes through a day, telling the baby to soar, laugh, explore, look, climb, sail, splash, grow, and shine. In the end the baby is told to dream, baby, dream and then again to sleep, baby, sleep. This is a really sweet book and younger students will love all the animals and insects (firefly and dragonfly) that the baby is compared too. The illustrations are very appealing to students and this book would be good in a classroom to talk about how different animals and baby's are alike in many different ways.
