Summary:  This is a story about Little Pig who needs something to give to Mother Pig for her birthday. He sees a flower he wants to give her, but the bee needs it for his honey so he doesn't take it. He sees some hay but the cow needs that for his bed so he doesn't take it. Then he sees shiny seeds but the hen needs that for food so he doesn't take it. And then he sees dirt and wants to make a mud pie but the Farmer's wife needs it for her garden so he doesn't take it. Because Little Pig was so nice and didn't take any of the things that the animals needed, they all give him something else in return on his way back to Mother Pig. He is able to make a big breakfast for Mother Pig with all the items the animals gave him for being so courteous. This is an adorable book for young children and students can use this book to learn about being courteous and sharing and they'll love that they know all the animals in the book!
